US type quick detach connector. When disconnected, cuts off air supply on the female side of the connector and release air from the male side. It joins 6mm pneumatic hose, through connector, with the second 6mm hose. Great to build your own HPA line.

It can be used as well to connect with 4mm hoses if used in pair with 6mm-4mm fitting. 
US QD fitting set can be used to connect with standard push in fitting on the regulator to create quick detach system. 
US QD fitting can be build into existing 6mm hose at any point between the pressure regulator and rifle.
