Mancraft HPA Engine – PDiK V3
gen.3
£245.00 – £250.00
The Mancraft HPA Engine is a High-Pressure Air (HPA) conversion kit for AEG rifles, specifically designed for DMR and sniper replicas .
The HPA mechanism operates without the need for batteries, making it safe to use in any weather conditions. You won’t have to worry about performance drops or electrical component failures. Additionally, since the entire energy used to propel the BB is stored in high-pressure air , the stress put on the internal parts is minimal which guarantee an exceptionally long lifespan and requires minimal maintenance.
One of the standout features of the Mancraft HPA Engine is its effortless FPS adjustment. Fine-tuning the velocity of your shots takes mere seconds, allowing you to adapt to varying field requirements on the fly. With the ability to easily regulate FPS, you maintain full control over your rifle’s output.
Kit includes:
- Conversion kit,
- 150 cm long pneumatic tube,
- Pneumatic fitting (if selected)

HPA Upgrade for Airsoft Guns
Give your airsoft gun an upgrade with the PDiK V3, a Pneumatic Drop-in Kit that matches the version of your rifle’s gearbox shell. V3 gearboxes are common in AK47, AK74, and G36 airsoft guns.
This upgrade is a piece of cake to install and works with various rifles, saving you from any tricky modifications. It makes the whole process easy, even if you’re not an expert – no need for fancy skills or deep knowledge. Mancraft takes away the hassle of dealing with shimming bearings, springs flying everywhere, or gears not fitting right. With Mancraft, just open the shell and pop in a single-component engine. Whether you’re after an AK47 HPA engine or an AK74 HPA conversion kit, Mancraft has got you covered.
Is upgrading to HPA safe?
1. Flammable-Free Power:
When considering airsoft rifle upgrades, safety should be paramount. High-Pressure Air (HPA) systems offer a secure alternative to traditional AEG (Automatic Electric Gun) setups by eliminating flammable components. Unlike AEGs that rely on batteries, which can be prone to overheating and potentially flammable, HPA systems operate solely on compressed air, providing peace of mind to airsoft guns owners.
2. Valve Vigilance:
HPA tanks come equipped with multiple safety valves, acting as fail-safes to prevent over pressurization and the potential for explosions. This design ensures that the pressure within the tank remains within safe limits, reducing the likelihood of accidents during play. The inclusion of these safety features adds an extra layer of security for players considering the switch to HPA.
3. Swift Disconnect:
Another key safety feature of HPA systems is the ability to swiftly disconnect the HPA line from the rifle. In case of any malfunction or emergency, simply unplugging the HPA line cuts off the gas source immediately, preventing further issues. This quick disconnection offers players a reliable and rapid means to address any unforeseen circumstances on the field.
4. Harmless Venting:
In the worst-case scenario of a damaged seal or component, HPA systems release air harmlessly into the atmosphere. Unlike some AEG malfunctions that may result in hazardous situations, the controlled release of air from an HPA system poses no threat to the player or the environment. This built-in safety feature ensures that even in rare instances of malfunction, the consequences remain benign.
5. Stress-Free Longevity:
Furthermore, HPA engines operate with lower stress on their components compared to AEG rifles. This reduced stress leads to increased durability and longevity of parts, minimizing the likelihood of malfunctions. Players can enjoy a more reliable and consistent performance from their HPA-upgraded airsoft guns. The enhanced durability of HPA components contributes to a safer and more enjoyable gameplay experience.
In conclusion, upgrading to HPA in airsoft guns brings a host of safety benefits. Each aspect, from eliminating flammable components to incorporating fail-safe valves, provides airsoft enthusiasts with a secure and reliable alternative, ensuring a safer and more enjoyable gameplay experience.
HPA Engine Installation Manual
Here is a general guide and manual for installing the Mancraft PDiK HPA Engine in the range of airsoft guns. For more detailed information, feel free to reach out to us directly or check additional resources on YouTube. Each Mancraft engine for AEG rifles with a standard V3 gearbox is meticulously designed to seamlessly match your existing receiver.
However, if your airsoft gun manufacturer made alterations that deviate from the V3 standard, you may need to trim corners or surfaces to accommodate our standardized shell. Fortunately, such adjustments are uncommon, and in over 95 out of 100 cases, the engine fits without any modifications.
Disassembly:
– Carefully disassemble the rifle until the existing gearbox and motor are accessible.
– Keep all parts and screws organized on the side.
– Take photos of the disassembly process for reference during reassembly.
– Ensure the battery is disconnected, and the piston is disengaged from the compressed spring.
Optional: Retaining Old Trigger:
– If you plan to use your old trigger, remove it along with the tension spring from the original AEG gearbox and set them aside.
Opening HPA Shell:
– Unscrew all six hex bolts to open the HPA shell. Note that they come in two different lengths.
Trigger Installation:
– Install the trigger. The tension spring is optional and can help reduce the time between shots based on the spring stiffness.
Optional: Fire Selector Assembly:
– Optionally install the fire selector assembly. The engine will function without it, but the rifle will be locked in SEMI only mode.
Pneumatic Tube Installation:
– Feed the pneumatic tube through the motor hole into the pistol grip.
Closing the HPA Shell:
– Close the HPA shell by securing it with the six hex bolts.
Engine Reinsertion:
– Insert the engine back into the receiver.
Reassembly:
– Follow the reverse of the disassembly steps to reassemble all parts except the AEG gearbox and motor.
– Lead the tube out through the bottom of the pistol grip.
Tube Adjustment:
– Cut the pneumatic tube to the appropriate size.
– If using a standard HPA line, cut it a few centimeters behind the grip and install a 6mm-US adapter at the end.
– If connecting the rifle directly to the pressure regulator, do not cut the tube.
With the Mancraft Conversion Kit, you can unlock the full potential of your airsoft guns by transitioning to HPA power, resulting in improved performance and legendary reliability. Experience the next level of airsoft gameplay with this innovative upgrade.
Durability is a key focus of the Mancraft PDiK V3 Kit. Constructed with rugged materials and built to withstand intense use, this kit is engineered to last. No matter how challenging the battlefield conditions may be for your airsoft guns, you can rely on the PDiK V3 Kit to deliver consistent performance, shot after shot.
Other components of the Mancraft setup:
HPA tank
HPA tanks are available in various sizes and shapes to accommodate different needs. It’s important to consider the size of the tank, as smaller tanks will require more frequent refills. If you don’t have easy access to a scuba diving shop or a personal filling station with a large scuba tank, opting for a larger HPA tank may be beneficial to minimize refilling inconveniences. Pressure Regulator
To maintain pressure and optimize performance, you need a pressure regulator. While any airsoft or paintball low-pressure regulator (80-150psi) works, we highly recommend the original Mancraft Regulator. It simplifies setup by eliminating the need for extra fittings and ensures peace of mind, preventing overpressure and potential conversion damage. You can find our Mancraft Pressure Regulators here.
